Now we are transitioning from the warm season to the cooler autumn months. This time is suitable for reflecting on the past weeks, letting go, turning inwards and bringing body and mind into harmony.
The Yin Yoga practice targets the deep connective tissues of the body, which expand throughout our whole organism like a net of fibers. By remaining in seated or reclined yoga poses for several minutes, the tissues gradually stretch and become suppler. The calm rhythm of the practice also creates the necessary time and space to come into contact with inner processes and our thoughts and feelings. With the help of instructions and variations you learn to explore and deepen the Asanas while remaining still for a longer time. At the end of the practice you will feel purified, calm and ready for a good night’s sleep.
The Yin Yoga Mini Workshop kicks off the Yin Yoga season at KALAA Yoga Berlin. Janine is looking forward to introducing this deep calming practice and invites you to experience the Yin feeling in body and mind. From October there will be a weekly Yin Yoga class.
